Having a hard time getting used to cooking and handling chicken livers...I hate that kinda blood and the smell of it cooking makes me wanna barf. But I do it for them of course. Tripe would be another experience...gack...um ok

Me thinks Luca meant WHY are you cooking it. I know she and many give liver and some other things raw. Not sure what I think about raw liver tho know people do.Maybe another raw foods thread would get more discussion going, will start one on the Barf food board

you think they find their food cooked in margerine in the wild? Maybe a little peppersaus or fried onions to it as well When i give my dogs raw chickens to eat then everything is still in it including liver and bones. It would be best to leave the feathers on as well, but even for me that would be a bit too much, the dogs wouldnt mind tho

Thanks for the suggest but my dogs are far from wild! I did try to give them some chicken livers raw after your last post and not one of them ate it leaving me a bloody mess on the floor. Yippee! Now I just toss it into their slop when I'm cooking. All in what you're used to I 'spect.

closest I come to that type thing luca is Halo Liv a little treats, and they are cooked or dried... Missy adores the chicken. Hey I posted another raw foods thread someone posted on marestare, instructionals type for those new to trying it, see whatcha think, comments there appreciated.
