• 1 cup flour
• 1 cup shredded carrots
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 2 tablespoons corn oil
• ผ cup water
• ผ cup molasses

Mix ingredients in a bowl in the order listed. Make small balls and place on cookie sheet sprayed with Pam. Bake 350บ for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Horses love 'em

Carrot Cookies
• 1 cup dry oatmeal
• 1 cup flour
• 1 cup shredded carrots
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon sugar
• 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
• ผ cup molasses

Mix ingredients in bowl as listed. Make little balls and place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350บ for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Carrot and Apple Cookies
 1 cup sweet feed
• 2 cups bran
• 1 cup flax seed
• 4 large carrots, shredded
• 1 cup molasses
• ฝ cup brown sugar
• 1 cup applesauce

Mix molasses, brown sugar, carrots and applesauce in one bowl. In another mix the dry ingredients. Slowly combine the molasses mixture with the dry ingredients. Add only enough molasses mixture to form a thick dough; add more bran if necessary. Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Using a tablespoon, drop batter onto cookie sheet and flatten slightly to form portions about the size of a silver dollar. Bake at 300บ for 1 hour. Flip and bake for an additional 45 minutes until they are dried out. Keep checking to make sure they don't burn.

Yummy Oats Cookies
 1 cup of oatmeal
• 1 cup bran
• 1 cup water
• 1 tablespoon salt
• 2 tablespoons brown sugar
• 1/2 a cup molasses

Mix ingredients together, grease a sheet of foil, and spoon on foil. Cook until hard on the outside. Leave out to dry and cool. Refrigerate any cookies that are not eaten promptly.

Winter Salad
 6 apples, quartered
• 8 carrots, cut in three inch pieces
• 2 cups Quaker oats
• 1 cup sweet feed
• Molasses
Combine all ingredients and fold in enough molasses to make the oatmeal and grain stick to the fruit.  Chill overnight and serve.

Hope your horses enjoy them.

Hi Lhasa:

Thanks for posting the cookies for horses.   I read them all and  they sound so good.
I'm afraid that I would have to help the horses eat them.    I might not nuke them for my horses but I will give the recipes to my friends that have time to bake...rofl.

Sorry peg forgot about getting some nuking recipes for you rofl.  But get your friends to bake them for you, then you can freeze them and nuke them to warm them up later rofl.  Take care. Lhasa
